Looks great man, im thinking about doing the same but i have the 03 headlights and will not be able to paint the chrome around the dimlight/turnsignal and highbeams w/o sacrificing light output. How much light output did you lose? Will i fail inspection with this?

the output for the turn signal i guess you could say it diminished but it still shines and people can see it...thats the only reflector that i painted and as far as the other lights there was no diminishing what-so-ever and as far as inspection goes you are probably good-to-go (taco bell)

Looks really good man, I really wanna do this to my car, but im not ready to pop them open. Quick question though... did you use the same glue or applied more? I know the RTV silicon they use is available through nissan, do you know the part number by any chance?

you can paint the lights and tape that area off... and tape off the chrome under the amber reflector strip so you don't get a different color amber...

Thanks man, i just prefer the whole thing to be blacked out. I don't like the chrome housing at all so it's either all or not at all. I guess ill have to sacrifice my low/high beams I never use them, and it's gonna be a temporary solution till i save enough $ for 06+ lights

we have projectors...it wont mess with the low beams at all but the highs will be gone
