Ewwwey. The car is PPW why would he want to paint them Red or whever color that is. Terrible. Guess when the Z's got cheaper... well i'll just leave it at that.

I do like the brakes though. Different color brake calipers are one thing. spray painting random parts of your car is totally different.

And on another note. You call a person a customer.. lol Look at the overspray on the strut bar mount I wouldn't have you paint anything of mine with that shotty work.

no i think he means when the car gets cheaper people will do more tacky stuff to it like rattle can parts without taping off to prevent over spray.

I had sprayed the black as well as the bar if some of you take the time to read as well as see the pictures. But we did not like the look so i had removed some of it at the time of the pictures to see what it was going to look like before the final production takes place. If you ZOOM in you can see some of the tape where i covered the threads of the adjustment for the bar.

If it looks cheap to you then so be it. Not your Z so doesn't really matter. As far as why anodized red on a PPW is because his grounding wires brake caliper's and soon to be complete silicone hoses are and will all be red. Pictures do not really do it justice, in person it looks pretty sick to me where as im going to just be doing my strut bar red as well.

Bingo....

Did you sand? clear? buff? Any of that? Im saying maybe you can't tell in PICS but it looks like a lot of orange peal and no clear. That to me is cheap work. The Z is a nice car do things right to it. The car has nice expensive brakes, why spray paint ****, do it right in a spray booth with clear and wet sanding and buffing.

As for the red and white that will always be tacky IMO. Body colored parts compliment a car much better.

base coat is sparkling silver.
main coat is anodized red complete with clear coat inside.
"orange peal" look is the sparkles coming through the red.
In person looks amazing.
Pictures just don't do the work justice.
I think if the guy went with any color besides red it would be considered tacky.
Regardless of the "criticizing" the man whose car it is likes it, and that is all that matters in the end.

What the **** is an Enthusient?

In conclusion;
If the OP likes his car with those spray-painted items, then let him - Just like you choose to utilize the English language and execute it poorly.
