im doing Nismo except with a veilside front lip....I have been debating on how to paint it...should i do black on the ground effects only OR do the black in the center lip like the original pic that i modded ....

I guess I decided on color matching I figured I cant go wrong with that....ADVICE or your 2 cents?

Its about time. Maybe now you can make it out to some more meets. I think color matching is the way to go. But black on center of the front lip might look good as well

I agree on color-matching all of it. While the two-tone look is distinctive, I think a solid color gives the look of a lowered stance. I think a lot of people will be going for a lip rather than a bumper replacement!

i decided on the lip only because the body shop already ordered the front oem i was gonna buy josh's front nismo....but the vielside I think might look better and if it gets broken i'll get a urathaine lip for about $300 bucks. (insurance is buying the lip)I'm getting all the paint and body work for free...so im only out $600 bucks on this kit completed. I gotta save up for the ati procharger which will be my next mod and exhuast and the upper plenium from crawford....Im still waiting to see a good 19 inch wheel that says spend $2500 on me...I think im gonna do the nismo 19's when they come out but still out to the jury on wheels.

I been very busy with planning a wedding....geez and new job. I'll be at the new meets when i get my car back it will be cool to see everyones modds again.

I am also debating on color-matching or color-contrasting the Veilside front lip. Saw a CS last month with Veilside's #1 carbon fibre front lip and carbon fibre sideskirt pieces and the contrasting colors made it looked very racy! IMO, color-matching kits make the car look very classy while color-contrasting makes the car look more racey. Either way, it's going to be beautiful!

yeah I was really debating alot of the kits for awhile...I decided on this combo because it keeps the look of the Z but gives it a REAL aero package look.....Now if it looks good I gotta make it fast....good looking and slow sucks..hee hee I got 10k coming in sept...that should get me the rest of the modds i want...only thing that sucks is finding a good installer for the procharger....Last thing I need is my car being in the shop for another month.....

IA,

Good to see you back again.

I think I would go color-matching all around as well.

Can't wait to see the car. Maybe when my friends and I make our Hooter's passport run to Dallas, we can meet up with the DFW group.

Keep us posted and get pics up as soon as you can.
