I just installed mine yesterday using 350z_Roadster's instruction, and it turned out great. Thanks to 350z_Roadster for the template and instruciton. I will post pic later.

The only thing that I didn't do was using the hose clamps to hold plastic brackets onto the blinker. I installed mine without the brackets. I was wondering why 350z_Roadster used it to hold the bracket. Maybe it was used for some purpose that I didn't know about.

Got mine done too, last week. Decided I wouldn't be skilled enough to drill into my fenders, so the guys at Z-car Garage hooked me up. Came out beautifully.

I had some other work done at the same time, (front emblem swap, ding repair), but the labor for the blinkers was about $300, I believe.

Thumbs up

The hose clamp or 2 screws, either one keeps the plastic bracket tight against the fender.

If you don't use either one the blinker may get loose and fall out.

The silicone will hold the blinker in place but for how long ?

Since the blinkers have been installed, I now always use them, it's safe and great for the look.

Have fun

I had AAM (Altered Atmosphere Motorsport) put mine on as an added Mod, they look great. These guys (AAM) do great work you would have thought they were Original Equipment they just complete the Z for me. Also had the Stillen Generation II CAI, Stillen Cat Back stainless single wall and Eibach Sways installed and finally an AAM ECU Flash.
The car is even better now if you can imagine in handling and acceleration, then it was when I bought her new last summer. The sound is a real nice deeper tone and awesome in the higher RPM range, they know I’m coming. I will get pics up soon; the next mod in a few months will be a valve body. Its even more fun now to drive .
My blinkers are just like these :

Does anyon have pics or a video file of the Z4 style sidemarker upgrade the Z store sells? I like the idea of no drilling and the wrap around blinker style looks better to me.

oh and btw, the search option on this forum blows!

Thanks for the write-up roadster... I knew this info would be out here somewhere.

Like others, one of the first things I thought of when I saw the new 370's blinking side eblem was... will that little sucker fit in place of mine. In January, during a $5 dollar oil change, I asked the guy I know in parts to give me a 350 side emblem. I ran out in their parking lot to the only 370 they had... sure enough, same diameter

Finally order my markers today, finally...

Please, can somebody tell me what the exact diameter of the hole should be (preferrable in Millimeters (mm)) to install the 370 Z light emblem.

Thanks in advance.

I already have this instruction, but there are no measurements on it.
It's fine if you want to install it on a car, but I want to install it somewhere else, so I need the exact diamater (preferable in mm - Milimeters).
I ordered that part already, but I haven't received it yet, so I am unable to measure the part. I need to drill the hole before the part arrives.

Thx

Check my thread, there is a template that I included and that will be extremely necessary for this installation.

Enjoy
