well i understand that but do you feel like the car is tighter when taking off and do you feel it putting more power to the ground?

Lol no your not gonna put more power on the ground with a metal bar that holds ur engine, its for weight distribution and and added security

Wat?

Engine dampers are to keep the engine more steady, which translates into a more steady engine/transmission. Benefits are minimal, if not non-existent.

Do you have 1,000 pounds of torque ripping the motor from the mounts?

I bought some dogbone dampers for my old Saturn when I turboed it. I went from having my engine flop around like a cack with the rubber dampers to destroying the metal ones. They went oval after a few days at the track. I'd say skip the mod unless you're putting down major power.

ok thanks for the input. i had put motor mounts in my old car and liked the result but hated the vibration at idle. was hoping a damper would give similar results with out the vibrations. guess not

i understand its not a hp adder but they say that the movement of the motor is wasted momentum so when installing one it gets rid of the wasted energy to put more power to the wheels. not like it adds hp or anything just uses wasted momentum
