Default where is instrument pod light fuse???

I tried plugging in my Sirius dockable receiver with the car running and I guess I hit something with the power wire with something on the back of the Sirius receiver and now my Sirius dockabe receiver is not powering up along with my Kenwood Reciever, but more importantly my guages are not lighting up??? I looked under the dash (driver side) where the fuses are located but I could not find a fuse labled instrument and then I looked under the hood where the fuses are in the battery compartment and nothing was marked instrument and all the small fuses looked ok.

Any advise on where I can find that fuse???

thanks in advance.

Brian

of course you will not find one labeled "instrument" because none exist like that. maybe if you check the fuses audio, electric parts and meter instead that might help a bit more. also, remember the next time you are working with electrical stuff be sure to disconnect the negative cable from the battery. this prevents things like this from happening.

Its a 10A fuse called "meter" right next to the red 15A for the o2 sensor. Pop your fusebox cover and look at the lable on the other side of it. You cant miss it.

Yes I know about the electrical safety precautions you're suppose to take but it was 7am and I was heading to class and I had not had my first cup of coffee.

Thank you for everyones help the mirror fuse was what was powering the guages too. Thanks to Scout for this help.

Appreciate the help.
