Default What to do with the tow hook hole?

For people with after market front bumper, what would you do to cover it beside putting the tow hook in?
Or it is ok just to leave it like that?

I appologize if not searching hard enough about this topic!!

I screw my front plate holder into it and the plate hides the hole very nicely.

I like the hook to be in, partly for looks and partly for emergencies just in case it needs to be used.

Im going to paint the tow hook hole black to make it blend it. And I will probably have to install my tow hook and keep it in since I believe you cant screw it in with the amuse front on.

I did the same. But is yours straight? It seems like mine is always slanted because of the wind during highway speeds.

Everyone's oem tow hook from what Ive seen does sit at an angle when fully screwed in. When I do mine, I am going to use a drop or less of some loctite to keep it sitting straight. Just an idea.

LOL, I will never do headlights again. But I can give you some advice if you attempt to DIY. I have a life long scar from doing mine...

Sounds like a good idea. I've tried to come up with different things to make it sit perfectly straight (a ton of things I got from home depot). If you have any success be sure to post pics

no need to cover it really... you could always think about rotating the beam 180degrees so the hole is up, but then you risk not getting access to the tow hook hole when you really need it!!

2 Questions for you: with your C-West bumper did you paint the tow hook area black or leave it as is, and did you still use the foam impact piece (seems sort of worthless on this bumper, even looks like it may fall out on it's own).

Thanks Cheston, I appreciate your words of wisdom.

i have the foldy autotechnic tow hook installed.. and no foam piece (it won't do much except fall off since there isn't any pressure from the bumper to keep the foam on)

you can sorta see it here:
