Default LED Tails

I have an 04 Z (silverstone) and want to upgrade to LED tails.
What are your guys opinions on whats the best ones out there?
I'm either going to smoke or black them out if I get the OEM 06+ ones.

Then I saw these online.
I'm not sure on them :/ 50/50

My headlights, doorhandles, and wheels are blacked out.
And my windows are tintned. So I'm going for smoked/blacked out tails.
What do you guys think?

These are the only two options you should even consider:

http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=2779

http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4228

then get some overlays, end of discussion

I would definitely stick to OEM tails if you can. Choose between the USDM or JDM pieces, whatever you like more.

bluebatmobile's overlays are great.

honestly, not too sure what could go wrong. provided they are sealed well and don't allow water in, they sure are better looking than the JDM tails.

i too was looking at these tails since tinted overlays are technically illegal in a lot of states, these are not.

i got the lights above for christmas (altezza smoked leds) this past year and i put them on my 03 and it messed with my ecu and bogged the car down...after reinstalling my stock lights(non-led) everything was fine....my mechanic said that i might would need to consider getting a resistor from switching from bulbs to led lights because they are diff frequencies....any opinions?

See here:

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...t-led-fix.html

Note that this fix works on these particular lights but may need different resistor values for different lights.

I personally recommend staying with OEM tails (USDM or JDM) and using overlays.
