Default HID's on basemodel possible???

Is it possible to have HID's factory installed on the base model. I cannot justify buying a higher model when I am going to buy aftermarket replacements for what is upgraded(such as lsd-brakes-wheels) but I refuse to buy retrofit HID's. I have 6000K HID's in my 1997 240sx and love them but factory setups are always superior for many reasons.

it is possible but i'd rather get aftermarket kits since they will be much cheaper and have more choices in candela.

Haven't heard anything about Nissan installing aftermarket HID's (perhaps if they were a Nismo product, probably) although not very probable, but in answer to your second q, definitely not something that you can order for the Base. Tried that on my negotiations but to no avail (they want to you to spend more money for the next level up, the Enthusiast).

best solution for you is you can buy the ballast and whole assembly from them, not cheap.

bit cheaper if you get it from a totalled Z, then its oem equipment and might be better than aftermarket atleast.

you cant have it come on the base from the factory.

tho of the stuff you listed the only thing youd replace on the enthusiast is the LSD...

i have a few hid sets for sale that will bolt up to the factory h7 bulb sizes. i have installed a few on the base 350z models, so i made sure they will work. the kits include the hella ballast w/philips bulbs. these are the same as the ones the audi and bmw use. install will take about a 1.5 hrs due to the fact that you will have to remove the bumper to remove the headlight, otherwise its a snap to install.. these are much brighter than the hid system that our cars bring. if you like i will sell you a kit at 400.00. just email me if intrested..

So I would be paying an additional 2K or 3K for everything else? there isnt that much difference to justify the money spent. I can justify the money to convert to OEM HID's but I might just go cheap and buy retrofits. As long as the gov dont find out I heard they are cracking down!

HID, homelink, TCS, Cruise control.

the bigger thing being that you cant add the last 2.

the thing I wonder of those that say they got the base because they want to get the better LSD, how many will actually get it?
