Default Front license plate removal

I'm lookin to purchase this 2007 350Z from out of state. It has a front license plate holder. My state doesn't require it and I will be taking it off. But I'm wondering if there will be holes in the front bumper if I take it off?
If there are holes in the bumper I'll move on till I find a Z that doesn't have the front license plate attached to it.

Thanks for help in advance.

Not difficult or expensive to plug the holes.

So there will be holes. I was hoping it was held on by a bracket that came from the front stock lip area.
I'm not wanting to plug the holes cause then there will be an outline much like in the pic below of this genesis. Notice the circle below the headlight but above the front bumper "whiskers".

The holes can be professionaly filled and painted for cheap. I'm not getting the genesis picture though, looks nothing like the Z does.

I think that hole there is for the Genesis Coupe's tow hook. It is supposed to be like that. If you plug plate mount holes properly you wont see anything at all.

Well, your choices are small holes which are very easy to plug or dimples, where the holes would be drilled.

Have you even seen a 350Z up close?

personally, i wouldnt pass up a Z i wanted just because of license plate holes in its front bumper. (1) they could be professionally plugged and (2) you could replace/paint a new bumper for relatively cheap. but to each his own.

They make little painted rubber plugs to put in the existing holes. I saw them a couple years back here on the forum. Can't remember where...

Or . . . .

Go to Lowe's and buy some 5/16" nylon plugs.
Go to the dealership and buy a bottle of touch up paint.

Go home, and paint the nylon plugs.

Pull off the license plate holder. My bumper had two holes from the holder, and two gouge marks from the screws used to attach the plate.

Drill out the holes with a 5/16" drill bit.

Pop the freshly painted nylon plugs in the holes.

Voila.

EDIT: I had originally said to use 5/8" plugs. My mistake.
Just found the pics I took during the install; I had used 5/16" plugs and bit.

Oops.
