Default bad oem fitment on doors hood ..

so i had this problem with the fitment a long time now

and im coming to a poing where i have to paint my car ,

and now it bothers me after painting the car , the same problem is stil gonna be there

this is not normal

the other side looks perfect

its like that with my other CF hood too

anyone know what could be the causeing ?

and the doors..

a little gap between the door and front fender meet , look like its poping out
its like that on the other side as well

and the front point of the fender where the headlights meet

both side as well

all this is bothering me

is it a thing that body shops can take care of as a normal thing with out going custom fix ?

Yeah they can fix it, all the have to do is loosen a few bolts and adjust the gaps, then retighten.

You bought the car new, and it has never been in an accident? I would have passed on this buy.

ya buddy, the hood can be raised slightly in the front np, and prob the door is just loose bolts. Either way its not body damage so it can be easily adjusted. Have you ever looked behind the scenes to try and figure out how to fix yourself?

dont mind the stupid question , how to i raised the front of the hood?

and the doors , ill look in to it tomrrow after work

and the front part of the fender , i think its because my front bumper

after taking it off it might take care of that

Cant remember off hand, but the hood is an easy fix. Wait till i get off work and ill take a look for you on my own.

As for the fender, it can be fixed as you presumed, just by taking bumper off and readjusting it.

When you take it off youll notice 2 bolts that bolt it to the fender. Just loosen up those bolts, adjust accordingly, and then retighten the 2 bolts. There is a third bolt that bolts a bumper support bracket to another bracket under the lights, but leave that one tightened as you shouldnt have to loosen it to adjust the front 2 bolts and bumper.

Hope that helps, and ill get back to you about that hood.

My only advice to you is pretty much common sense if you look at the parts.

First, on the door, make sure all the bolts connecting the door flange to the door and the body are tight on the both flanges.

For the hood, make sure the rubber bump stop on the side sagging matches the stop on the other side. These stops are just pushed in to the hood. If need be, buy replacements, pull out the old ones, and throw in new ones. they shouldnt be too expensive and are very easy to replace, so why not. This is the only possible problem i could see with the hood.

On many cars, these stops are adjustable (screw in and out) according to desired height. Ours are not, they are just an all-rubber stop, so this could be the only problem i can see.

I would hope you have figured this out on your own, though, by now...like i said, its all common sense if you look at the parts.

hmmm i think its the bottom fender thats pushd in so theres a little gap on the bottom part of the door

and the hood , all causeing because the bumper i have it fits bad ...

so i think when i get my new stuff ill have the body shop fix that thank you very much

the hood was like that even when i had the carbonfiber hood , and the cf hood fits perfect on my friends car

so thats why i came out with the conclustion that its the bumper

Np, let me know.

Honestly, it really looks like the bottom of your door is bent outwards for some reason, in which case, you might be sol.
