Default Personal wheel -- Suede vs. Leather

Hey all, looking to pick up a Personal wheel very soon and can't really decide if I want suede or leather....looking for some advice from those who own/have owned either.
Thanks in advance!

It seems suede will hold hand dirt, oil, and grime more and doesn't wipe off like leather. Suede may look good at first, but I think it'll soon go downhill.

Unless you wear gloves

Suedes + Gloves = Maximum Grip!

I had a sparco wheel that was suede, even with gloves on the track, it got dirty.

Personal wheel I have now is leather and I prefer it over the suede.

^Not true, if you have hairy palms you don't need gloves.

I'd go with leather. I love the way the suede looks initially, but no matter what it will look terrible in no time.

Leather...red stitching, black interior, with the silverstone exterior you got will be "teh sickness" lol Imho it's classy yet functional. The suede is nice but even for my car (garage queen) it'd still be too much to keep nice - plus it doesn't flow unless you have suede seats and headliner too!

Leather ftw!

i have suede Sparco in my s13 and leather Personal in my Z.
suede feels much much better with the driving gloves, but does collect more 'dirt' you have to just brush it off more., if you drive bare hands, it will soak up the sweat. :\
the leather on my Z is nice and i prefer it over my s13 steering wheel but tends to scratch easily, so watch the jewelry/broken nails/keys, etc.

suede just needs to be brushed, that's all

I've got a suede shift **** in my own car, and it's perfectly fine. Picked up a suede brush and cleaner from the Timberland store for a few bucks, and once a month, I spend a few minutes keeping it nice.
