Headlight lens available seperately?
I've done some searching trying to determine if the front lens of the headlight can be replaced or if the whole assembly needs to be repalced. Can't seem to get an answer.
I have some deep scratches that will be an expensive polish to fix (and still not 100%) which will cost as much as a new assembly.
Hoping someone here might able to help.

Thanks for the quick reply JZurita.
It's what I thought too
If I found a second-hand assembly can you re-use the lens from that one though?

You can look at the parts diagram and see that the headlight has sub-components. But the part numbers are deceiving. I have visited my Nissan dealer and told “We can only get the next higher assembly.” Good luck.
Might try some places in the US and see how I go.
Thanks for the replies guys. Much appreciate your help.

ebay.... $100. Buy an aftermarket light. The lenses are perfect fit, perfect quality, and perfectly clear like new. It has worked for me more then once. If your interested, pm me and i will find the exact one i got mine from.
Do what i did before you consider spending any more money than you might actually have to. Go to your local auto parts store (we have autozone) and buy the headlight restoration kit from 3M. It's a 4 stage kit that is used with a drill. I was skeptical of it, but figured before I dropped big coin on a set of replacement lights or lenses, I'd try it for $20. My light's were pretty bad before the kit, close to new after I was done. If you're still not happy with the lights after the kit..you're only out $20, make your decision on what to do then. Spending $20 on the kit, saved me from contacting CinCity and purchasing a set of lenses from them. Good luck.
