Default aftermarket pedals, which drill bit do i need?

hey guys,

well i've had my sparco pedals laying in my room for quiet some time now. i've been meaning to do it.. but like all my project, i tend to never finish lol. so today i tried to install my pedals.. i knew i had the wrong type of bit.. i barely made a dent into the clutch pedal lol.. after 30min of trying and trying to force it to drill more. i just gave up lol

so which drill bit do i need? or does anyone here live near me with tools and willing to give a brotha a hand?

here are the pedals that i'm trying to install, i bought them from west covina nissan.

If your asking these questions u prob should pay someone....

Ill entertain u though..

Go to autozone
Buy a drill
Buy a dill bit set
Find the drill bit in the set that is slightly smaller than your screws
Make a template of the holes to mate up on ur pedal
Drill them
Screw the pedals in
Your done

I just used a drill bit that was properly sized for the screws I was using. Your drill bit size would depend on whether you are using self tapping screws or nut and bolt types. It is really a simple install. Here is a pic of mine.

Apparently not.

He gave you the best advice possible when it comes to picking the correct bit for your pedals. Not all pedal kits use the same size screws.

I suggest buying a small kit with different size bits, similar to this one.

I think he's wondering if he needs titanium bits, which shouldnt be necessary. OP if your bits aren't making any progress try drilling with a smaller bit first and then use the one that matches your screws after.

I don't think bit size is the issue . . .
