Default this might be a dumb question but how do i change my brake lights

How do you change the brake lights on a 350z?

i just put 77,000 miles on my Z and i have to change my brake lights

You unscrew the tail light housings, remove them. Once removed, you can see the light sockets. Remove the socket and replace the lights. Re-install your light housings and you are finished.

Open rear hatch. Remove plastic "slugs" on top of taillight. Remove 3 bolts. Pull taillights horizontally to free the two tabs that hold them in the body. Don't pull vertically, you'll break the tabs. Then follow the above instructions.

Switch to the 2006+ LEDs they make a huge difference.

Noob question but you can do that with an 03-05 Z? Is it just plugnplay style or more complicated?

direct swap and they are BRIGHT...just got mine this week.

Yep. You have to tape off one wire because it doesn't use it, but that's it.
