Default How to tell if my Z has HIDs

Aloha,
Its been bugging me for a while, but I was wondering if there is anyway I could easily tell if my 2004 performance has HIDs. My headlight brightness do look like they are on a higher spectrum than normal lights, but not that very bright blue so commonly associated with HIDs. Any advice?

if my car had HIDS I would definitely get blood work done. there are many medications these days that will prevent it from going full blown and your car can live a long healthy life.

Your Performance model came from the factory with HID lights. Unless someone changed the lights, you should still had HID's. The factory lights were 4300K so would not look blue.

Hold a cat in front of the headlights for 60 seconds. If the cat is blind you have HID.

Base models from 2003-2005 have halogen lights and they have the projector lens. And they look exactly like the HID lights from the outside.

turn them on and check to see whether or not your light actually warms up and becomes brighter. If the light goes from a yellowish halogen to a brighter premium LED white-ish tint then you have them
