Red face LED Light Guide

When I was doing a complete LED switch out on my Z it was a PITA to try and find the right lights for each I wanted to replace. Especially on the forums. So just an FYI for all you that want to change out your lights. These should be the same for all Z33 up to 06' I cant speak for 07' and 08'.

Here are the sizes and where they go.

Dome: DE3175 (but 3022 and 3021 will work. These are festoon lights, make sure you buy two, they normally come in single)

Trunk: 168 (but 194 and 158 will work. I'd use the flat directional leds tho)

Parking Light (in HL housing): 168 (but 194 and 158 will work.)

License Plate Lights: 2825 (but 168, 194, and 158 will work)

Front Turn Signals: 3157 (3157na, 3357, 3457, 4157 and 4057 SHOULD work, make sure you buy resistors too or else you'll get hyper flash)

Rear Turn Signals: 992 (7440A will work also)

Back Up/Revers Lights: 7440 (992a and 7443 will work just fine.)

HID heads (06' up): HID-D2S

Non-HID heads (05' or earlier): Pretty much any headlight that starts with H7 for low beam, and H1 for high beams.

Anywayz, hope this helps somebody. Cheers.

EDIT:
Just a quick blurb on changing your lights.

For your parking lights, and front turn signals, remove the wheel on the respective side, take the wheel well guard off, doesnt have to be taken completly off just pop off the three pop screws, and take out the fender screw, and pull it back. The light housing for each twist off counter clockwise take out the old light, and put in the new one, check that they work before putting your well guard and wheels back on.

For your reverse lights, and and rear turn signals, take out your rear light housings. There are DIYs for this, but its just three screws and lift up/and out to pull the housings. Then just reach down and just like the fronts turn the light boot counter clockwise, pull the old, put in the led, check if the work and reinstall everything in reverse.

The license plate lights are toooooo easy, just pop off the housing with ur finger or screw driver, and change out the lights.

Pretty much the same process for all the other lights, pop off the housing and replace.

I RECOMMEND V-LEDS.COM for all your led needs, super fast shipping, VERY high quality, and they are even heatsinked for you high temp housings. Good luck.

Sweet, I've been looking to do an led swap.

Is it as easy as swaping stock to led or is the process more involved?

just replace em man, except for the turn signals, you need to install resistors, otherwise your flasher will blink super fast.

for the trunk get the flat directional leds, it looks best, the rest is just up to your tastes. check out v-leds.com, they make really good quality leds and ship fast. I was really happy with em.

Nice guide. There's just one tiny bulb you missed, which I don't know the size either LOL
The yellow light in my "glove box" behind the pass seat annoys me because it's the only yellow light in/on my car.

It's very easy, just remove your tail lights and stick your hand down to swap them
