Default Resistors for SRS Light

I recently removed my stock steering wheel and installed a NRG short hub and quick release. I'd like to turn off the annoying SRS light. Does anyone know what type of resistors I need?

2 ohm? 3ohm? 1/4 watt? 1/2 watt?

I ended up picking up a couple of 2.2ohm 1/2 watt resistors from Frys electronics. Worked like a charm. $1.98

I'm doing this shortly and also removing my seats with airbags. Actually i'm pulling out all the airbags from the car once the rollbar and harness gets installed.

update:

The short setup came w/ my nrg short hub.
The bigger setup is my replica/trial version. If it works then I will post up a DIY so you guys will know how to make your own resistor set up.

Are you planning on removing the airbag module as well? Or just fooling it with resistors?

Come to think of it, i will probably remove everything possible. I just really don't want the light on the dash.

It's super simple. Just slide each of the resistors into the connectors, bend the resistor down (if you want), and cover it up with electrical tape. Then do the SRS reset procedure.

Same here... I thought the resistor thing was working for me and then suddenly the light came on a couple days later. I've checked the wiring and done the reset procedure numerous times but still no luck. So I'm hoping to see if anyone has any experience with ditching the whole system.

It'd also be nice if I could get rid of or maybe just pull the bulb for the TPMS as well.
