8k will have a bluer tint but at the cost of lesser luminosity output compared to the 6k.

if your ok with that, go for it.

I just don't want to have a ricer look.. I think 8k with a black car looks better than 6k with a black car.

Do 6k. Don't do that blue garbage (8k).

8K looks very 'rice' in my opinion. But everyone has a different opinion on this. Most agree 6K is max without starting to look rice.

Stay with 6K, it is stock, classy looking, and has gives you more light output.

6k is not stock, 4300k is

6k will be more bluish than stock, don't sacrifice light output for looks

I have 6K and to me 6K is the highest i'll ever go. any higher and i'd lose substantial visibility. and it'll look cool to other ricers but not to most people

I've used 5000K and thats a pretty good balance... I had them on my Hyundai Tiburon and loved them.

The fog lamps are 3000K yellow, not regular halogens...

BTW are you using 03-05 headlamps or 06+ headlamps? The early year headlamps don't perform all that well. You might want to upgrade to 06+ headlamps. Or you could try a 50W HID kit but that is a little more risky than just upgrading headlamps. The 06+ perform much better.

HELL NO. Also none of that ebay garbage which is all just made up numbers and terrible light output no matter the number. All the following is assuming proper quality bulbs (as dumb as they are above 6K)

4300K is stock, 5000K gets rid of all yellow tints assuming a proper Philips or comparable bulbs at the cost of about at most ~5-10% light output. Cleaner white, not much loss in output. This is where I draw the line, improved color with essentially minimal loss. Anything past 5K I don't really recommend, especially in the rain. People will swear by all sorts of nonsense, but science is science...above 5K is loss of lighting and safety for 'looks'. Which IMO looks terrible anyways.

Anyways 6K is again, bluer but at a loss of 15-20% light output from stock 4300k. This is noticeable and the color penetrance of bluer light in rain/etc is bad. Our eyes see blue very poorly. You can look up why. But again, this is where light output not only drops by a fifth, but becomes blue which is not exactly optimal for our eyes at night.

8K is beyond retarded, but people will do it anyways, because apparently it looks cool. But you are going bluer and losing about 30-35% of light output. For what I'm not sure...past this, I just want to punch you in the face.

Approximate graph of what output is compared to temp in K for lights. There is a better chart out there, but I can't find it at the moment.
