Default Headlight bulb on base model

I bought my Z 5 months ago and one of my front light bulbs just went out (2005 Base model) I'm having a hard time making a decision on what to buy because my car is the base model. Since I already have to buy new bulbs anyway I'm trying to get something nicer than what the car comes with, brighter and whiter and maybe with a little bit more of a hint of blue, but I do not want to have to add a kit. I really don't know much about brands or the technology behind the different options. If anyone can help me out with a little advice it'll be great.

I believe the base model comes with h7 bulbs@ 35watts... you can look for 6,000k h7 bulbs if you want a white color with a blue hint..i think they have a hint to them.
I have a 05 also but it is a touring model with D2R bulbs...i hated the color..i switch to D2C 6k and ill never go back haha

For the Base you need a Halogen bulb. Lots of choices out there. You can buy crap from China or quality bulbs from a reliable manufacture such as OSRAM SYLVANIA.

This is the exact HID conversion kit that I had bought, and Its amazingly bright and has so far lasted me 2 years without any dimming or burning out. I can definitely say these are a bang for your buck. I get many compliments on how bright my lights are and they ask me "why do you have your brights on??". They're surprised when i tell them I dont. Mine were the 10,000K Crystal Blue

Since you have the base model, you will have to buy the H7's.

There isn't much downside to buying a kit. It plugs right into the old harness, but the only difference is you will need to find a place to mount (bolt) the ballast box, one for each side.

Thanks for the advice, I thought adding a kit would be a hassle but if it is all plug and play then yeah it seems like an option. Thanks again!
