Default What front bumper is this?

Hi guys, I know im new to the Z game, been with volkswagens for YEARS now and tired of that show scene. My latest VW for reference

Just picked up my Z a week or so ago, its an 05' and looking to make it to the same standards. But, what front bumper is this? Or, lip.

I know it looks like a Vizage Type S lip which is only available for the 06+ but his z is a 03'. Please any input is appreciated. Also, I have understand I can swap the 06' front bumper on, then put that lip on. But his bumper doesnt have the Z emblem whole anymore, so it makes me wonder if its a completely different bumper as i dont see alot of Z guys shaving there bumpers. Again, thanks.

It appears to be an 06 bumper with shaved emblems and no grill inserts. His paint is custom so it would make sense to shave the emblems at the same time.

No no, i understand his paint is custom. But, even the reflector holes dont look as big as the 06+ ones. Just wanting too see if theres some other way other than getting the 06+ bumper and lip, didnt know if there was a COMPLETE bumper or just an 03-05 visage type s lip.

its def a shaved stock bumper. Looks like an 03-05 bumper, and are you sure the lip is vizage? maybe ings lip?

Paint is beside the point, just explaining why you see it shaved here, since you mentioned you dont see it often. The reflectors dont look as big as they should because that lip is making the bumper seem larger, making the reflectors small in comparison.

Its definitely not an 03-05. You can see the brackets where the grill inserts should go. The 03-05 doesnt have this option, theyre built in. If one were to cut out the grill of an 03-05 all you would have left is an empty space.

That can also be a C-West front lip.. OP a quick way to tell if it's a 03-05 is the bumper reflectors. The openings aim aft and on the 06-08 the bumper reflectors aim forward... sounds weird but you'll get once you see them side by side.

Congrats and Welcome.

^^^ exactly. also the size, number, and spacing of the crossmembers in the front grill. 06+ has two large ones, older style has I believe 3 smaller.

Thanks everyone for the great help, and no im positive its a vizage. The "front" part of the lip, is very minuscule compared to the c-west and ings lips.

Yep it's a JP

BTW, there is a good reference that someone made for all the available exterior parts for the Z:
