Got mine in the mail today. For people wondering about the headlight aiming. It is in the stock location. I also think these have left and right aiming as well? there are two gears.

I have the sti lenses and some other goodies I want to put in these and I think I'm gonna leave them gloss black. It actually looks really good and OEM.

Anyone figure out the light escaping issue? I want to address that while they are still open.

Sorry but they seem to have a pretty shitty light output to me, decent cut off but the output to the road is poor compared to the OEM lights and they have a really horrible hotspot issue focusing all the light in one point vs spreading it around. I was hoping these would work out and maybe they just need the STI lens upgrades to work well but out of the box they look disappointing to me and really only work for looks during the day. I'll be intested to see some output shots after someone swaps the lens.

thanks for pointing out about the aiming. the gears should def be for the aiming.

Whenever I receive mine, i'm contemplating on whether or not I should cosmetic wise:
A) leave as is
B) remove clear turn signal lense and bulb cover
C) Do B and paint turn signal area gloss black
D) Do A but paint turn signal area gloss black

gonna do the Sti lense swap as well. As for the light escaping issue, maybe test out shining a flashlight towards that area or test out with hids before fully installing?

Whoever is doing the sti lense swap with these headlights please post a pic with the results. A Before and after pic would be nice. Also add what bulbs you are using (hopefully Phillips). The first cutoff pic was posted using cheap bulbs.

My thoughts: someone said they thought the price was going up... I think buying up a bunch of sets to sell later when the price goes up is an easy way to make $20-100 down the line....

or he has 3+ Zs?
