hey look.. its another day, and another box of crap that i ordered for this build lol.. whadya know.


so since i was getting rid of the Crawford cubby gauge mount set up due to the tablet being mounted there soon... someone posted a gauge pod for the instrument crown that i had seen before.. but didnt realize it was from Jay Shieh at Evo R.. so i hit him up and bought one...

I also need a real afr gauge, so i bought an AEM UEGO to install into this pod set up along with my relocated AEM Trueboost... Its gauge overkill but i honestly dont care.. the car is a freakshow anyways.. fk it. Yes i ahve the Stillen carbon A pillar gauge pod.. yes i have the ATI column mount gauge pods... YES.. i have 6 gauges staring me in the face now.. and a tablet.. all are functional, quality and necessary i dare say.. so Im down ese.

yeah it totally does.. sitting by itself it looks lame as hell.. but honestly i already have the CF gauge cover...all this really is now is that same piece w 2 surface mount gauges that pop up over my st wheel SHould be legit.. certainly a scary car to have roll up on you on the fwy at night haha.

what are you using for a tune? I have the EUGO and its not compatible with Osiris.

 

and i do ask this out of ignorance.. but how is a stand alone wideband o2 sensor not "compatible" with my Osiris tune?
I'ts certainly not whats being used to run the tune or anything, just a sensor i can read visually. i have plenty of extra bung holes for it lol.

can you share a bit more about what you mean or what you ran into?

 

i am no longer ignorant lol..
aem uego, universal exhaust gas oxygen sensor.
its a standalone.. my tuner added his own during the orig tunes.. then removed it when he was done.. factory o2s dont adjust cleanly enough by themselves.. and some aftermarket widebands actually control the tune being used..

but in my case.. thats not necessary.. its there when the tuner needs it.. and its there day to day when i need to watch it.

good heads up tho.. made me go and learn something.

Thats right it is a kagatoni.. i honestly just dont want to help in having more than the one car out so far that beat me to it.. thats all.. ive had it happen multipe times as i build.. and i really do have to weigh sharing pictures vs revealing it after its built..

Luckily ill be up and running in a month tho.. ive got sponsorships hanging out in the wind from companies that want me to quit sending progress shots lol.. and to just produce a car and pictures and press features for them to start using lol.
