i concur its a bit odd looking lol...but for my purposes its pretty functional
here's more cool stuff.. better pics of the GMAK duck bill..
Some better detail of the mouting point on the wing side..
got the inverter wired up for the front license plate, plus 18 horsepower lol
a better shot of the hood w the covers back in place.
damn these things are bright!
i think i found a major issue that may be whats afffecting the driveability issues on the car..
since i added the DC Power Inc alternator.. the voltage has been reading pegged to the right.. upon using a consult tool, my voltage is actually 15.9 volts! Gah!
I found this out as the inverter i had wired up for the LE license plate panel smoked and lit on fire as soon as i started the car!
This being the case.. i was offered a solution to allow it to sense lower voltage and keep itself regulated as 14.8 by bypassing the sense wire to the ECU and relocating the " blue wire" directly to the output side of the alternator.. ( in case anyone sees this in search results later etc)
Fingers crossed, we will correct that this Sunday.

not much to report in the way of updates.. my battery is still having major issues...
but i did play around w some Avery wrap and this stuff is crazy flexy. Will be legit.
also got most of the body kit parts painted satin black.. makes it easier to have the areas exposed that i wanted in that finish anyways.. and makes the wrap stick better elsewhere.

judging from your pics of the GMDB it appears to come within 1/2" where the spoiler terminates on your deck lid
looking at the pictures on the GM site it appears to fall quite a bit short of the edge of the OEM deck lid , like at least 2" +
is yours the same DB as on the GM site
or is your different ?
does the fact that your deck lid not being OEM have anything to do with that ?
do you think your GMDB will terminate as close the deck lid edge on an OEM hatchback

the duck bill has to be trimmed to fit between the mounting pedestals if its used with the GT Wing. My hatch has teh same shape as a stock hatch.

Hey I finally got the DC Power Alternator myself ....thanks for the info as now I have no power issues (I don't get the surge when my fans kick on to go with my twin pumps and all my other acc at idle)...
That being said, when I first turned it on I was reading ~15.5 volts (I use Greddy Infometer for my readings)...but since then its settled down to about about 14.8-15.1v, and I haven't even done the big 3 wiring (which I may regret since I haven't gunned the car to ~7krpm since I got the new alternator)...I'll try and see if the voltage goes up significantly past 5krpm...
I have burned out a cheapo 12v socket vacum cleaner though lol

yeah apparently it will really mess w the tune becuase coil packs, spark, fuel pumps etc will all be running faster/ / hotterharder at that voltage.. Uprev stated " its going to run like hell".. which is pretty much what my car had magically begun to do.
Especially w the amazingly upgraded grounds and big 3 that i did.. this thing was getting SERIOUS voltage.. and maybe thats why it was murdering O2 sensors w no load revs when driving in the underpass etc.. no idea why it was doing that..
plus i was running rich and my fuel pump wiring was warm.. hopefully all fixed by this.. i ahvent had a chance to run the car yet tho due to a busy work week.
fingers crossed.

Yeah I don't like it.. it's like the Tomei sounds... that goes right into a loud white noise mess... no blend.. just one to the other... I'd rather have Tomei sound all the way thru

let me know if you want one.. the lead time is pretty lengthy.. about 3 to 4 months to here from Japan, hand made etc.. and it only needs some simple 3m tape to install.
