I haven't seen any other builds going in 2015. Maybe I've seen mine? But I really don't think my car counts. It's more of a piece of metal on jackstands at this point. But yeah I like what Brian's done a lot. I was looking at a lot of the parts he put on here, at one point or another for myself, but never had the ***** to pull the trigger on all of it. Really like where he took the car from the vaiiil-zide point. I may consider copying the rear light cut out thing. Since I'm too lazy to wire in my reverse light stuff.

Most of the builds now a days are, cayme-burr, big wheels and OMG A FENDER FLAIIRE? I'm still waiting for the pt88 3.4 2jz voltex build to take off ;D not naming any names

I have done this with so many parts on my car lmao. And I don't own a dumpster... Late night dumping. I don't even want to deal with the hassle of posting a FS thread, let alone dealing with over-size shipping etc.

Can I thread jack a request from someone on here? I just want the inch width of the hatch/trunk rear window at the top... I'd consider bringing a tape measure with me in the car and getting it from a parked Z somewhere, but I really don't want to be that guy measuring someone's car in a parking lot.

What did you make your splitter out of? I've seen a lot of people using alumalite but I feel like it can't be that strong. I'm dying to make one too but I can't figure out what I want to use yet. It'll probably end up being aluminum

Default Nice

I baked my headlights to blackout the housing and custom designed the oem bumper to fit a hexagon grill and I felt like a builder. You sir (bmccann) are a true builder. Questions:

How did your wife feel about this? (I guess I'm an alphafail)

What's next? Go stellar/sleek and take off the rocket ship wing, and single color? Brushed aluminum perhaps?

im going to take off the aluminum bracing I 3md to the diffuer.. actually were going to carbonfiber the exposed backside of the diffuser now too.. but for now ill just leave it black but yeah.. it needs it.

Also picked up Rickdogg's ARC v1 catch can from him... ships out this week.. this is his (na) engine in the pics.

in process of hanging things.. its droopy becuase its not fully fit up in many of theses pics. Also some of the pics are of the car aired out on the ground.. testing for clearance. Brace brackets are made to be fairly adjustable.

I decied to use the engine kit I traded him for my previous wing for my Garage Mak wing mounting and this diffuser mounting.

like i said.. pics dont do it justice, but you can easily see the entire top side of the diffuser.. and i want it shiny.

Soon enough.

Picked up a dougs cut out ( newer smaller version) for the currently blocked off cut out.. i have a QTP electric wireless kit for it aleady installed.. just need to bolt this on and its set.. they will still get sticky and carbond up, but at least this style wont leak 100% of the time like the butterfly one does.

As always looking awesome but are you at all worried about the exhaust burning up that nice rear bumper?

Check out meanz's car... I picked up the same vortech. But on the real, be careful. Don't want a bumper fire. Vinyl can catch fire, I've seen it happen to cars with cat's and no race car fireballs

I was shooting lil baby flames after WOT's with my SR powered s14 with no cats just like the Z in the vid resmarted just posted.. Pretty hard to believe this thing is flameless with the current power level and knowing how boosted VQ's are in general and especially if this beast is running rich! GL either way....

Really comes down to how you're tuned/setup. It happens sometimes on maf cars that aren't recirc'd, because of the leak of air, the engine runs rich AF on decel. Some people dig it though. I think it's cool but also the sign that the car might not be "optimized"

BMC you didn't anodize your ti exhaust? I'm about to anodize my full TI to be gold... It's going to be my "accent" color on the car.

Have you considered doing a rear window spoiler? I think that would look hot on that hatch. Would have to be custom, but could be very nice... I think that the rear window lip spoiler deal is going to come back with these widebody + winged cars. I'm currently looking into one that might fit on my smoothlines top, but Idk the stock window width.

trust me, I absolutely dig it. I asked my tuner if we could just up the boost and run it rich AF just so I could get an apesh1t flame shooting back firing setup. lol He wasnt too game to do it. I've cruised with a few cars (EVO X, JDM swap MR2) that were liek that. I loved it.
