much appreciated on the kind words.

Im stil having issues w the TPS Auto set, so i have 2 plans, either keep working on the software to try and get the Nissan pedal sweep dialed in.. or have a braceklt welded to install the GM pedal onto the firewall, using the nissan pedal and stalk.
First start up engine Oil has been added to the dry sump tank, and i added an interrupt switch so the main fuel pumps stay inactive, allowing some cranking over, building oil pressure etc.
My buddy is coming by during spring break week to assist in bleeding brakes, adding and bleeding clutch fluid, and getting the clutch pedal throw and pedal stoppers all set up.
Other than that, it will be time to have him remote in and start doing my ecu set up, first start work.

Clutch fluid in and bled, rjm pedal bracket set up with stoppers for proper throw.

welp.... Cant make this kinda sht up.
/ thread.
Jk. But to those who already follow my social media accounts ..... You already know that my built, forged and finally "fixed" engine popped on the dyno yesterday.
We say popped ....because it was majorly down on power form last time ( 547whp down to 474whp), sprayed coolant out of the rad cap.. And is now makin a very scary rattle noise a bit off the deck idle, 1500-1800 rpms.
Head gasket? Rod bearings?
Quick fix or total rebuild?
Dont know yet as i'm leaving everything as is until i can get someone over to the house to listen briefly and give me a solid opinion before we start tearing down the engine ..yet again.
I had my emotional moment; disbelief.... Then total " of course this would happen" belief.
Can i give up? Lol.. No. I am way too far into this thing.
Can i afford this? Absolutely not .... And im really hoping its caught before anything is too bad to save.
If i have to rebuild, i will most likely part out the nearly brand new turbo and fuel system, and move over to an ls2 with ls# heads and call it a day for now.
My hp will drop in half, but it will be easy to build back up, and will be an engine that can afford me far less headache.
Id much rather keep what i have and fix it and be done however.
I am way past burnt out on wrenching right now, yet it looks like my hand is forced back into it, yet again.
So i will continue to finish the body , finish the carbon door swap, the wrap etc etc..
I will post pics as usual, but know that the car is going nowhere this summer after all.

four years, folks.
The stuff in my life ive lost over this stupid car is unfathomable...
On 3/24/24, this last sunday, after several attempts to pull fuel out of the base calibration. And get more than a second of run time..
.. the engine swap grumbled to life and ran on its own.
plenty yet to do, need to vacuum bleed the coolant due to horrific air bubbles and heat issues from a bad fill job.. Clean up the tune and do some street pulls etc...
But yeah.
IT RUNS.

IT IS ALSO WILDY LOUD LOL.. BUT YEAH MAN.... THANKS FOR STICKING AROUND.
GD.. I DID IT.
I WILL OF COURSE POST MORE SOON AND GIVE SOME UPDATED PICS AND VIDEO LINKS.

Is it OK? Was that from years ago when it popped? (Hopeso)
I'm having one issue after another with a Z3 BMW since November and feel like it's a nightmare. Can't imagine over a decade.
Hang in there!

Used my template decal and slowly drilled my holes for the Cartek rain light.
Need to clean up from the backside and then prime and paint them, then they will be smooth and the wrap will stick.
Added heat wrap to protect diffuser from exhaust heat.

Non pictorial update lol
Car runs, car was driven, and I actually have to relearn how to drive a manual it seems lol.. Was not expecting to be THIS rusty.
Immediately discovered a big issue..
The csc was set up incorrectly by myself... And everything underneath the car has to be removed to drop the trans.
Water lines.. Sways, exhaust braces etc..
I have clutch fluid all over my tilton clutch.. So discs may need to be replaced, not the worst case.
Need to pull clutch, clean everything.. Fix up the discs and then reinstall.. And lastly have someone who knows what they're doing come and adjust my csc throw out so this doesnt happen again
Dropping the trans is gna be sketchy af w the engine in the car and no lift.
I am not excited by any means

ah no big deal.. things happen, and for thsi being the only issue w the swap thus far, i cant really complain.
I have a mobile alignment guy coming by 9/29, and then i can go nuts on taking the trans out and getting that sorted. Once that's handled, i can literally start driving the car and shaking everything down on day one.
All in due time.

no spacer on this one, the tilton is threaded .. but what i think happeneed is that i actually set it correctly, but my buddy ste up my clutch pedal incorrectly.. it had tension on it all the time, so when the clutch was "out", it was still being slightly depressed. Then the overall throw was set in correctly as well/ stoppers etc.. who knows, will find out soon once i can get helping hands to come take the trans down.. its sitting unbolted and waiting :/

oh hai.. well after 15 years i finally moved to a new place.. 3 car garage now, but a very quiet neighborhood so i havent driven my car yet lmao.
We fixed the transmission and shifter issue before i had to pack and move.. and now i had my buddy fix the bolt holes in the flares so iu need to re-drill a few and re-rattle can the flares so the wrap will stick better.
Been busy as hell w the move and am slowly getting the garage together again.. its getting hot again next week, and will need my ac lines created soon, asa well as a heat sheild and catch can, integrated together around the air intake filter. Buddy is coming by top make welding templates next week.
