2006 350Z 2dr Touring: to XPEL or not?
Title says it all. It's an used car I just bought.
In very good condition (low miles) and paint is in good condition. Has a few dings (very few), front bumper is a bit scratched up (from the bottom. plan to get it buffed out and detailed).
On such a car, do you guys think it is worth getting XPEL? Or should I just take care and drive, and get it detailed every now and then? For XPEL, in my area, I'm looking at about $1500 for full hood, lights, fenders. And if I go XPEL, should I go Ultimate?
Appreciate your suggestions guys! thanks
More details: Since I'm not super rich, and on a small budget, I'm debating between this or changing my stereo (since I really want/need an AUX input)!

The car is already 7 years old and you say it has dings and scratches. I would repair them and not worry about the XPEL. If you had a very expensive car, the XPEL might be worth it but for a seven year old Z...........total waste.
Makes sense, thanks. I was being an idiot I guess. I just recently bought it from a dealer, and the paint looks great right now (few people asked if I got it brand new) so that's why I thought maybe to maintain it.
I do want to get my front lower bumper fixed (it bugs me to see scratches below it)...it should be a small job right? Shouldn't may more than 100-200?
Thanks a lot guys.
PS - I am a bit lazy, but not enough that I will neglect the 350z.

It isn't difficult to keep your paint looking good. Here are a couple pictures of mine and I have owned it since July 2003. Therefore, the paint is over 10 years old. It still looks pretty good.
Wow, indeed it looks spectacular!
May I ask what you do to maintain this...as in,
how often do you wash/shine/wax it and using what products? How do you clean your tires?
I'm sorry for so many questions - it's just that I'm very new to this (don't have much car knowledge) and want to learn from someone with experience.
Thanks!

For the most part, I use products from Adams Polishes. I use Adam's Americana paste wax, Adams's clay bar, car wash and VRT tire protectant. I have a Griot's Garage D/A buffer and use their polish #3. Their websites are:
