Default 2006 Enthusiast Headlights

Hey guys what's going on. Hoping y'all can help me out here. I have 2006 350z enthusiast and it seems to me that the xenon headlights are not that bright on low beams. My fiance's kia forte halogen low beams shine further than my xenon. Is there a bulb that I can replace the factory ones with that are brighter?

Check adjustment.

Does the Kia have projectors as well?

The kia doesn't have projectors. How can I adjust them?

I don't know about the KIA but the Z should have an adjustment on the side of the headlight that uses a philips screwdriver. I haven't done it in years, I don't remember exactly where.

Since the Kia has reflector housings it will spread more light down the road due to not having the cutoff that a projector does. It probably sits higher as well.

That makes sense. I'll try to adjust it and see if that helps. I have had both headlights replaced due to a tornado and a deer so the body shop may not have done so. Thanks

Were the headlights replaced with OEM lights?

yes they are OEM. The insurance company tried to cut a deal with me with giving me a discount on my deductible so they didn't have to replace them since they cost so much. I'm all about keeping my car looking good so I passed on that offer.

Thanks for that link. I'm at my fire station today and when I get home tomorrow I'll definitely give it a try.
