Default anyone installed Ashtray Light?

The ashtray has a little window to let light in. Is any one installed an ashtray light under the ashtray in the console? Thanks

Yes, I did a while ago. The Nissan part # is 24860-2J001... I paid $14.42.....relatively easy install. The connector is already there, in the 4 way flasher harness. Lift the shift boot trim in the rear....it pops right out. Then remove 2 screws on the rear sides of the counsel......the one under the ash tray, & the 2 that will be exposed after removing the panel around the shift boot. I vaguely remember snipping a gray band around the 4 way flasher harness to get to the connector.

NOW, Quite smoking!

Good luck!

For pics of removing the counsel, sorry, I didn't take any....but do a search in the stereo section. Would be difficult to take pics as I had to work kinda blind. I didn't remove the counsel, only got it disconnected to gain access. And, no, I,m too lazy to take it apart again to shoot.
