Wow......This......wow........I'm in! Quick question, you mentioned multiple times that it's basically an android OS operated computer and you can access and download any android apps you want and run them on this thing. Now does this mean it will support Apple play and integrate with my phone? Or will it just simply treat the iPhone like another MP3 player? Also, is there a capability to make these computers 3G/4G data accessible? I'm wondering if I can use this to integrate with Tein's EDFC system for their coilovers? How many pre-outs are there for audio functions as well? Sorry for all the questions. I'm very intrigued by this and hate I missed the 10% period lol

 

Apple Play and Android are never going to work together - I'm sure you can guess why.

 

We're still working towards the end of July-August timeframe for shipments with some early beta test units going out before then

Brainiac will integrate with your iPhone via Bluetooth or WiFi for media and hands free phone usage. We also have an iOS app that you can install to control Brainiac's features from your phone. We plan on expanding the functionality of this integration as we continue to improve the product. But it will not run your iOS apps on Brainiac.

Yes, you can plug in a USB cellular modem.

We've been asked that a couple times now, but we don't have an EDFC accessory as of yet. We currently have been focusing on aftermarket digital air suspension integration (RideTech, AirLift, AccuAir)

I agree with Spike there. Although I agree with a discount I could deal with the full price for what it is. To have basically an android built computer in my dash that I can use an app to control on my iPhone, stereo complete control along with having the entire android app market to choose from? Which has ANY iPhone app and more on it then I can go for that. Along with getting constant internet access with something like a mifi hotspot? Hell yes! I wonder if we get to browse the net on these lol. Correct me if I'm wrong but it is true we can install ANY android app out there right?

 

You won't be controlling your iPhone or installing "ANY iPhone app".
