Dealer wanted to sell me a Nav sys for my Z34 Niz which didn't have it nor was Nav Pkg an option (a dumb one at that). Curious (but had zero interest in having), I asked about cost. $2700 installed. Hahahahahahahahaha. Yeah, no.
So, yes, it's possible. Do it yourself, parts will cost in the neighborhood of $1500-2000 depending on where you source it; and if you're not installing it, add several hundred in labor (even though it's not that much work.)
I fail to see why anyone wants Nav in the car when every phone on the planet can run any number of never-need-to-update Nav apps. Mount the phone on a cradle and save $2500? I dunno, whatevs.....
Two of my cars have Nav. NEVER use it. "Hello, Siri?"

my brain hurts... "If it's possible, does it work like stock?" I'm sorry I can't answer that.
I have to agree with mike on this one. If you wanted a more integrated and less expensive option than stock nav a new head unit with apple carplay or android auto may be a good middle ground. The sony XAV-AX100 is probably the least expensive option from a reputable manufacturer.
I don't know if the 370Z has a cubby above the radio, but I have a much cheaper solution if the cubby exists. I mounted a Garmin GPS unit in the cubby and it performs much like the stock GPS unit.
