Has anyone replaced both seats in a 350z and been able to keep the convertible top operational? The seat switch would keep it from opening i believe. Also my top will not go back the storage compartment door will not open, and the top wont lift in the back to open the storage, is it likely the 5th bow?

Sure thing - as far as your other question - it sounds like your top is not operating at all. There's no telling what that could be. There are many sensors and conditions that must be met in order for it to function correctly. I would recommend downloading the FSM and going through all the troubleshooting steps. I've attached a copy. I had to split it into 2 different parts based on the file size.

 

I've been reading the fsm, the widows come down, the seat tilts, and the storage deck doesn't open, so i'm going to have to probably pull the inside out to manually open it. it makes it to op2 where it unlocks then nothing happens.
