Roll bar by Piper Motorsports - oh yeah!
After many weeks of waiting, Piper Motorsports was finally able to fit Commasense and I in for our custom 4 point roll bars. Mitch Piper is considered one of the top cage builders in the country, and is very well known in the road racing community. Tubing was constructed of DOM tubing, and the TIG welds are extremely clean. Piper Motorsports definitely exceeded my expectations, and I don't regret for one bit cancelling my Kirk Racing roll bar order.

My car with the X-brace mounting behind the fuel cell:
James' (Commasense) car has a little different back design per his request.

I'd like to thank Jon @ Piper for facilitating the entire process. Hopefully he'll chime in with some photos of them making the boxes for the hoops and other stuff.
Another comment is the fitting is VERY tight. About 3mm clearance between the roll hoop and the pillar, and the roll hoop is flush with the roof.

Glad you guys like the roll bar. James just picked his up. I'll try to post the pics of the base plates and other stuff ASAP.

How is it mounted to the frame, is it welded or bolted in? If you wanted to do any work on the car and had remove the plastic panels, can you work around the roll cage or are you stuck with what is in there? Is it possible to unbolt it and remove it from the car? Inquiring minds would like to know. Thanks.
