Default auto shift ****

Can anyone recommend an automatic shift **** for an 03 model. I received one from performancenissan.com and it would not fit even though they pulled it up on the computer and it said 03 and 04 models. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you talking about any shift **** or just replacing the 03 **** with an 04 ****? I replaced my 03 with an 04. There is one minor DIY mod you need to do first...

Any leather **** would be O.K. This is the one I had to send back.

Default momo

The very first guy to replace the shift **** on an AT5 did it with a momo. You should be able to do a search "if it's working now" and find it.

That pic is of the 04 ****.

The 04 **** fits the 03 stick. You first need to remove the 03 ****, then place the 04 **** on the stick. You will notice the grooves where the pin catches is lower on the 03 compared to the 04. Therefore you must make new grooves.

I put the 04 **** on, took an exacto knife and made a mark on each side where the new groves need to be made. Than I took the **** off and used a thin saw blade to make new grooves. It works great. However, I am buying a lot more mods and will be probably selling this ****. PM me if you are interested.

My brother-in-law has the Altima, and he has an auto shifter with a button that you dont have to press down. Is there any way to get that for my '04 Z ?

Pull the silver tab at the bottom of the **** just below the leather down. (It snaps) Then pull the pin out (from teh front twards the radio) and pull the leather **** up. It comes off with a little tug. Takes all of 5 minutes.
