Evo-R's new Eye-lid design ?
Please vote and let us know if you guys will like this new eye-lid design and what material do you guys prefer, here are the details;
Design: Top will line-up with the fender line (NOT the gap between hood and fender) and end at bottom of hood tip.
Material Options: Either Real Carbon Fiber or ABS plastic (same material as our headlight cover)
Price Estimate: depends on which material we decide to go with (CF slightly more expensive than ABS plastic).
We might also provide painting service on this eye-lid.
To get an idea of how the CF eye-lid looks like, click on the link below for our RX-8 CF eye-lid;

Here is the picture for the Z eye-lid (sorry for the poor drawings), and I thank Bat for let me use his Z picture.

I voted no. I think it looks good for the '8...Not so good for the Z. I don't like how angular it is. This is one man's opinion though.
Personally, I love the Zh6 overlays.

Hey Andy (I think?)
I talked to you at the show. there was a pic floating around here of a JDM 350Z with Top Secret Widebody kit in white which had some very mean looking eyelid. The lines were from the hood meeting bumper straight out over the headlamp at about a 45º angle, then a straight line going back up to meet with the fender/hood line.
BatMobile has something similar but with a curve in it. If you can make a set in carb. fiber, I'd buy the first set and help promote it.
Let me know.

I think the eyelids would look great in Carbon Fiber but they should have some curvature to them and not be such a straight line. In other words, I think it would look better if they looked similar to the shape of a small chille pepper rather than a triangle wedge. From the picture above, I know it was photoshoped, but it looks like a triangle wedge. I don't know if that was the exact look you were going for, but I wanted to throw in my $0.02.

They are pretty close to what I have been looking for, although I agree, a curve would be nicer.
I have been wanting to buy the RSW ones which I like a lot, but I do not want CF and also hesitate ordering something so small that takes 8 to 10 weeks to ship.
If you were to build some like the links below, in ABS plastic and painted, I would buy them:
