Ok i want to paint the center of my black leather seats red. The reason i want to is because my whole car interior is black. My question is, is this stuff at JC Whitney any good to do so.

it says "For use on hard plastics, order primer (sold separately). Not for use on fabric seats." as in nothing that is bendable including leather, cloth, fake leather but on hard surfaces.. if you use it on the leather, the paint will chip off
if it didnt chip off, would it really make it any better?
its gonna look like crap even if it stays on there. gonna clog up into the vent holes, get drippy, overspray, ect ect ect. and no doubt no one will mistake it for red leather.
fyi I have seen someone spray painting their seats, dont know how it turned out.

I have seen a special spray dye, NOT a paint, for leather. In fact, I have used it myself with very good results. True, it would be nicer to buy new leather seats, or seat covers. However, I'm assuming a good job would cost you several hundred dollars. What you may or may not know, is that the leather used in all automobiles is in fact prepared with a sprayed on dye, and that is what is used to repair leather car seats. So, you are on the right track as long as you use the correct product made specifically for automobile leather, but you want to change color from black to red. Having never done that, I'm not sure how going from a darker color to a lighter color would work out.
please dont paint your seats
I haven't seen any ROTFL posts lately since the Rollin' Soldiers thread
j/k hey we're from the same state.. please don't paint ur seats

That stuff clearly isn't intended for real leather or on flexible surfaces. Additionally, you're never going to get the color you want on top of black leather. It'll look "maroon-ish" at best. This would be a huge mistake.
