Nice. I like the look of the "old" ones, where the tips actually touched the car. But they rub like crazy and chip the paint. Your car looks great!

I'm in the market for one of these, and had a few questions for you.

1) Did the wing come with installation instructions/hardware?

2) Did the wing come with anything to modify the rear hatch struts or to increase the size of the bump stops? If not, have you noticed a problem with the rear hatch popping open on the first try, like many others have had with the J-spec NISMO wings and replicas?

3) In addition to the tips not touching, it looks like the U.S-spec wing doesn't sit up as high vertically. ie) when looking through the rear glass, it seems like the wing won't sit right in the middle of the view through the rear view mirror, like it does on the J-spec and replicas. Where do you see the wing in the rear glass, when looking through the rear view mirror?

I miss having a spoiler on my car...had a stock one on my SE-R but really miss the look on my Z. I'm really curious about this 3rd question too. Can anyone describe or have a pic of the view?

Yes it does. But i wouldnt do it myself. They have to drill 4 holes i believe. I sat and watched some of the install and it looks diffcult. They used a tracer like paper to line it up perfect. Take it and have it done by the dealership. Just in case they mess it up..they pay. Mine did a bad *** job.

Mine opens with first push of the button. I tried it over and over and it worked perfect. But mine has never had that problem. I dont think it came with anything to mod the opening of the hatch. If you have an earlier model of a 350Z then i believe there is a fix for it through the dealership.

I will have to take a picture. It sits up pretty high. Its late tonight, I will go out and count up the lines on the back windshield and take a pic for ya tomorrow. I know looking in my side mirrors i dont see the wing at all. Through the rear view mirror it sits high but looks damn good. The sales manager at the nissan dealership is the president to a Z club of 100 Z's and said the real one looks a lot better from all angles and in the cab than the replicas. He said mine was the 2nd they have installed and he is wanting one now.
