Default HID Recommendation...

As some of you may know, I had purchased a HID Kit from a member on this board and it was defective on arrival. I now need to find another conversion kit that will work my Z and I seeking some help.

I have found this on eBay and wondering if this would work ?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I have also found few Phillips D2R but I understand this wont fit on my base Z.

Can you please help ? Thanks

Dead right D2R wont fit, but you can get discharge lamps with a halogen style base which takes care of the fit.

Well worth the effort when you get it done, although the light spread from the reflectors/lens's isn't as tight as it could be.

I went ahead and purchased Phillips Ballast and Phillips D2R 4300K bulbs.

Looks like I will be doing some customization...

Does anyone see if I will have any problems with the intsallation ?
