The mods aren't paid to moderate this board, so when they do find the time to get on, many things are over looked. That's where the infastructure comes into play, veterans who've been around long enough to know what the TOU rules are, what should be searched, who can post classifieds, and where topics should be posted.

As you can see my friend, the mods still haven't posted but they are watching I guarantee. There's no need for them to post because everything I'm telling you is what they would tell you....
I'm sure they are watching, I would hope they would watch a thread like this lol.

Well, I appreciate your responses VO. Even if you do support flaming Too bad you have to speak for the mods around here.

It's not that I speak for them, but more along the lines of stating what would already be said.....

I agree, and I tend to see more of it on these forums than others I am on...and probably because this is an "Older" forum where as people who own a majority of these cars are 40+ yrs old...

Life is too short to care about what someone else thinks about you especially over the internet...

If you get too frustrated, do what I do...click the little red "X" at the top right hand corner of your screen. and breatheeee.

Thanks SRTtoZ. I do the same thing at times. Not really cause I cant handle all the flaming, but I get the same feeling I get when I read fox news for an afternoon. There is only so much negativity a person can take before it starts to effect your subconcious. The media has a desensitizing effect on people.
I guess the key to stick around here is to eventually be desensitized to all the flaming? Does that make it ok, or the best way? Isnt there ALWAYS room for learning, and improvement? I'll answer my baited questions lol. No it isnt the best way, and yes, learning never stops.

yea haha.

When I first came to these forums and owning an SRT-4 before this, most people flamed the hell out of me for owning a "neon", regardless of the wow factor the car had (and all the records/awards it won). But when I posted on the SRT forums after buying my Z, most people congradulated me and said nice car...

As long as we can talk about it, thats all that really matters right.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I just wanted to put it out there and discuss.

If the forum was, as how you want it, there would be approx. 3 members here. There are other forums more suited for you. Most of us love the laugh we get on the site, not reading ******* bro hugs all day. If you say something stupid (as I'm sure you did) you are ripe for forum rapin' for the enjoyment of others.

The general demeanor I see around here is sarcasm. It grows, the longer a member has been active on the site. Personally, I'm sarcastic when it calls for it. Compassionate when it calls for, and informative when it calls for. Never do I make personal attacks which would be considered "fighting words", on the internet or in person. That's probably why I've never been banned...

sarcasm or not, i seriously dought they would say the things they do to someone in person.

i recall i asked about what HDMI was in a XBOX 360 thread. i believe the response i got was DIAF ( Had to look it up but i guess it means Die in a Fire)

Seriously, i dought he would have said that **** to my face.

I agree, that's pretty vulgar/childish. Like I stated earlier, the majority of individuals here know how to place sarcasm where it belongs. Others like the person who gave you that response are usually some dumb little dip$hit teenagers. But what can we really do about it? It's on the interweb. You are correct in that statement, that they would probably not say that in person. Even so, it's still a small percentage of the little ****** that do exist here..
