Default Does the site seem faster?

I purged inactive members since 01-01-03, which I believe is a good amount of time. About 5000 members were removed.

To me it seems a bit faster.

Tell me if it made a differeance for you?

Seems a bit faster- the only real problem I've been having is hitting the main forum index page- especially the last few days.

Seems slow still to me. Takes awhile for the page to load initially many times, and sometimes the loads just die on individual threads.

Right now, it is taking 5+ seconds for a page load, for instance.

Rest of the net seems fine, and I'm on cable.

My problem started about a month ago. I am not certain if it is just my home system (my computer and my wife's computer do the same thing) or whether others are experiencing the same thing.

Every time I log in.. or go to a thread ... or change forums.. my computer will go in all the way... and then re-attempt to go in again.

Frustrating... and only only on this site does this happen.

Takao is supposed to order 2 new servers, hopefully that will take care of the speed issues.

Unhappy Still work to do!

Definitelly, I see a little improve in speed but nothing compare the performance of the site before all the problems start happening.

It's somewhat faster for me, and I noticed it right away.

Any further improvements are certainly welcomed, however.

Thanks very much.

I came in looking for some info on why the heck it's so slow... i haven't been here that long but everyone here keeps saying how much faster it is... it's like 8:30am EST and i suspect usage is pretty low right now, but i find it VERY slow.

What kind of numbers on this forum do you have? # members, # posts / day etc.

Dispite being slow, i keep coming back as this is the best 350z forum i've found! Thanks for hosting it!
