I want to know why some mods take their biased opinions into account when deciding to close threads.

I personally believe that it's kind of screwed up that just because the mod doesn't like stretched tires....he can close the thread and say "just post in the agressive rims & stretched tires thread".

And before people post in here saying "omgz why are you butthurt??"...I'm not. I'm just curious in why this is allowed.

 

because the topic has been beaten to death and there is no need for another thread on the subject...

the thread title was "why"???

With a thread title like "why" most searching on it would find the many other threads on the subject before they ever clicked on the "why" titled thread....

You don't see me closing EVERY stretched tire thread....

oh, and i mentioned safety....not i hate it...

I have a non street driven track only 350z that i drift.........i used stretched tires on my drift car at times.........closing the thread isn't just because of the fad hate...

Gotcha. This is the kind of response I was hoping for. You can close this thread now if you like, my question has been answered.

 

The OP had a question that could've been answered in one of the largest threads on this forum, no point in starting a new one. Even though the mod gave his opinion on the subject, he still pointed the OP in the right direction in the end.

On a personal note, JasonZ-YA is a huge asset to the members on this forum due to the time he takes to answer questions on the Suspension 101 thread which applies to every Z owner with or without suspension mods.

dude this is a forum.......a forum is a place for discussion and its welcomed.........with that the good and the bad will come....ideals will clash and internet fail will ensue...

to a point our rules allow us to, close, edit, infarct, delete, ban, etc.....

believe me if i had my way i would have banned a ton of morons for many reasons, not just hella flush, hella stretched, sorta flushed or whatever "bubbly decal" is cool right now.......but the rules don't allow it.......
