It's a house??

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=4508+1...rY-Y4tNAlvzF_Q

NVM, thats where I assume Chris lives, or its they only have an online presence.

Q: - Can I pickup my order locally and save on shipping? -

A: CVR Motorsports is primarily e-commerce, and as such, does not offer local pickup. With the exception of select products, orders placed with us ship free. If picking up locally, you would be responsible for NYS Tax which is 8.375%, most times this will cost more than the shipping fees you are trying to save. Additionally, if you are within certain driving distances of NY City, chances are your order can arrive within 1-2 business days without having to pay tax anyway. The Tristate area for instance is one transit day, so if you order on a monday youll receive it tuesday depending on if you met the cutoff time.

Looks like there was a warning about them posted already in the North East Section.

Hi Guys,

I just signed up because I saw this linked on one of the Subaru sites. I have a thread started on this at iwsti.com also.

http://www.iwsti.com/forums/review-s...-any-help.html

There is my story, I lost contact as of 7 days ago after they sent me a check that bounced and told me they would send me a refund by monday of last week.

I used paypal but sent the payment using my credit card and since paypal is worthless I have gone through my credit card company to get my money back. I have plenty of proof on my end.

Mark

mate if someone could do that and help me get my money back i'd send them a six pack of beer from Australia.

I sent them an email this morning US time:

Dear CVR

As promised, I've started posting my story all over the internet about your fraudulent conduct. I have also lodged a complaint with PayPal.

Here's some light reading for you:

Thread on (name removed)

Thread on (name removed)

Thread on (name removed)

You will see from those threads that ive already cost you a few sales. You are also banned from ever selling as a vendor on my350z.com.

Also, have a look what happens when you google "CVR Motorsports". I've attached an image for you to print out and hang on the wall. Word is spreading fast that you guys are dishonest.

I am your number one creditor. You owe me a significant amount of money. I don't care who else you have to pay, I'm the one you need to worry about because if you don't pay me, I am going to destroy your business. So pay up and pay up NOW.

Now, i'm going to keep posting my story on car forums doing more damage to your business with each day that passes. But also, if you don't pay up i am going to report you to the Police and the Bureau of Consumer Affairs.

You owe me $1,319USD plus the PayPal fees. Send me the money via PayPal TODAY.
i got a reply this evening US time:

Hello Oliver,

I got a hold of Chris briefly and he asked that I email you. As he is
still out of town, I will be taking care of the refund for you in his
absence. I dont have access to his paypal account, but can send you a
bank wire transfer to deposit the funds directly into your account.
Let me know if this will be ok, it will be much faster as well.

I'm in Australia, so they cant just wire the money to me. sounds like more ******** to me, but at least they responded for once. In the meantime, more threads are going up on more car forums.

Have we come to the conclusion that CVR Motorsports is bankrupt?

While they might be insolvent, they appear to still be trading. Ive noticed that they are still takin orders off people from other forums. (which ill put a stop to soon enough). What I don't understand is where is Chris Rivera in all this.

These guys are complete scumbag scammers.

Being out of town is no longer an excuse these days. EVERYONE has access to a computer now. Hell you can go to a local library or the Apple store and use one. You are going to tell me a business owner doesnt have a phone with internet access or doesnt carry a laptop with them? Again this is just more of a ploy to buy time and not give you your money. Chris is a POS.
True. Ive asked them to do a western union money transfer. I suspect it's just going to result in more delaying tactics.

I do want to add some hope for those of you, I just got a notification from USPS of a Money Order being sent to me today from CVR for my refund (229 +19 bounced check fee). Will let you guys know when it arrives but as long as it is a money order should be good.

How did you send the payment thru paypal? I'm pretty sure if you used credit card funds as opposed to a direct bank transfer you still have more of a fighting chance by filing a fraud claim thru your credit card company. Either way you better get in contact with your credit card company or your bank and get the ball rolling on that fraud claim cause your not going to get your money back easily if you wait on paypal or these clowns, and you already know that much.

Sadly, there should be a thread stickied in the vendor section educating people on how to securely spend their money without being drawn into the waiting game and scammed.
