Default WTB in FS threads - plesae stop the madness

Can I just say that I HATE all the WTB posts litering the FS threads? I'd prefer separate WTB and FS threads.

You get all this, "I want to buy a quality authentic product for a song but I'm too lazy to get of my butt and search for it"

I come on here to look for parts to buy and all I see are beggers looking for hand-outs. Rediculous and frustrating!

WTB posts are annoying! If it is for sale, there would be a for sale thread. There is a vendor wanted sub forum in the vendor marketplace for people looking to acquire the best price for a product from one of our vendors.

This, I want to trade my broken busted *** kit for your nice full carbon SL2 crap just doesn't fly with me. WTB looking for Varr dogs cheap with aggressive offsets willing to trade for old dog leash.

Mods should be able to clean this crap up. If you are looking for a rare part I can understand. WTB posts for 15mm spacers are fuggin stupid. Million places to buy spacers lazy *** go look.

I assume what you're asking for is the return of the Wanted forum. Probably not going to happen again as the majority preferred having them mixed in the subject specific forums.

I get more irritated with people who post WTB threads when there's the exact items they're wanting to buy in the selected sub category. The culprits usually do it in the wheel thread which most people on this forum... noobs or not frequent often.

The fundamental problem is that we still haven't found a cure for laziness. You've been here long enough to see and experience it. Everybody wants it handed to them, they want somebody else to go through the effort.

I agree with this all.... It is annoying to see a WTB thread for something that comes up immediately if you open the marketplace....

HOWEVER,
Im lookin for some 18s....I browsed the selection here and on the G boards... not much. I posted a WTB thread and within 10 minutes I had offers for 2 sets of wheels (both of which were NOT in a F/S thread) The NEXT day the seller posted a FS thread for the wheels. WTB threads can be useful if someone is holding onto an item, or doesnt have time to jump through the verification picture loop(easy as it may be). If someone says they WANT a good, then the seller can be motivated to say hey, I have that!

It is lazy, but a couple WTB threads i have seen on here have prompted me not being a hoarder...

my .02

what it is basically is a lack of moderation done to clean out the mess. what is worse is all the post ***** type comments flooding a person's for sale thread, posting with no intention of buying the part just to say "awesome deal" or "good price" or the ridiculous daily bump

qft.

I see this most vividly in threads about mods where the info is already there but people want you to practically do the mod for them.

Chaps my hide.
