Why isnt there a tapatalk for this forum. Is there a way to start it up. Just trying to get some insight on how we can get it started up

 

Because IB chose not to go that way.

Personally, i've used it with another forum until they gave it up too. No big loss in my opinion.

 

Mobile version is just fine.

 

some of us use it though ... could't harm if it was available!

 

I've been on other forums that used Tapatalk. It's okay -- but both have since dropped it because of costs IIRC.

 

mobile version is fine to me only thing that would be cool is if we could post pictures straight from the phone gallery

 

^^ yeah i agree.The mobile version is okay but if you ever use tapatalk it offers more like posting pics from your phone

 

I bought it, used it a few times deleted it off my phone.

 

Just want to pile on to this old thread and suggest we add tapatalk. I visit several forums and it would be great if I could check them all in one place.

 

Because we have our own mobile version for the site, you will most likely never see that happen, unfortunately. :\

 

I post pictures directly from the album on my iPhone using the web version. I haven't warmed up to the mobile version.

I hope this isn't a sore subject, but I did some searching and saw that adding Tapatalk was voted on back in 2010 with overwhelming YES votes.

With the exception of this forum, all the other ones I frequent from my phone. I installed it on my vBulletin forum and it's been a great success.

I didn't see it in the app. What ever became of that?

 

Site owner simply signs up with them and installs the plugin from the admin control panel. Free and easy.

16 replies to this thread, to which I'm subscribed, and I received no notification. Not sure why. I was getting them for my other thread, but they stopped too.

The two features I like most from TT is the ability to directly post pics from the phone, which is a Godsend for a car forum and the "touch the star-get notified of reply" simplicity.

 

Wait a minute... I think I was temporarily confused by my thread being moved to an old thread, it being early and/or trying to do this on the mobile version.
