Oil Leak w/ Greddy TT?
Have / are any of you having an issue with the "crush" rings attached to the oil pan? Mine keep leaking . . .
If you are, how did you rectify (heh, rectify) it?

Yeah, this blows . . . I've had to use about a Quart of oil over the past month. Its hard to notice the leak since it drips onto the lower plastic cover. I presume it blows off while driving, but if I leave it in the garage for a week, its noticeable on the concrete.

One return line (rubber hose) was a bit leaky, but I torqued it down. Other than that I don't see anywhere else it could leak. On the drain you should have a copper washer that seals the drain. If you reverse that ring when changing oil it could leak, your supposed to change it each time but if you put it on the right way it's usually fine.
The Greddy pan is just a stock pan fitted with two return lines.

Heh . . . went to have my tranny flushed and asked my tuner to double check the oil leak. To our surprise, the previous mechanic that worked on it (former employee--for obvious reasons now) torqued the banjo fitting too tight and it was barely staying in the oil pan. We could just hand untighten it a tad and removed the whole thing! Needless to say, I'm glad we figured it out and our boys @ Greddy are overnighting this piece. It's so nice to have a tuner that actually warrantees their work . . .
