I already talked to Techno Square.... they said the only thing you may want to do is remove some extra timing off the top.... If you provide them with a DYNO A/F ratio then they can fine tune......... increasing the REV to 7100 is not a wise choice, as stated by many knowlegable engine builders..... the advantage of 300 RPM may be 10WHP but the risk to your bottom end is being debated currently.....reffering to some engine failurs....IMO it seems safer...after reading many posts to increase boost a little to get your desired WHP...VS increasing RPM....

So out of TS ECU you would benefit from....a safer tune with a good A/F ratio.....wouldnt trust a sniffer ruse a O2 bung PRE-CAT....also remove extra timing off the top

Drive by Wire....TB open to 100%

and Speed GOV removed....

Yeah...i understand that the engine bay needs quite a bit of dress up to make it that dazzling

But how does it ride w/o the strut tower brace...and to all that said they liked the hood....you have won another FAN!!!!

This may be a harder decision than i thought after all

There is a replacement strut brace that Stillen makes. It costs about 200 or so.

I guess it's a preference huh????

why is it not a wise choice to increase the rev limiter to 7100 you end up not hitting the limiter as much and so decreasing the chances of damage. In my opionion it's a very wise choice

Nice! When did you do that? How did you get the blower polished? Looks much better than before.

Also, when I rode in it, were you at stage 2 or 3?

These motors are made for low end TQ,not top end.Raising the rev limiter may stop you from hitting the rev limiter but it also increases boost on centrifical SC's up top.More boost in higher rpm's doesn't sound safe for our little rod bolts.Look at most dynos, the power tapers off past 5500 rpm.Just shift sooner. That's why I bought the Stillen, it places the TQ in the low rpm's then kinda falls after 5500 rpm.I do have n2o for tons of tq up top,so I shouldn't be talkin.

Vortec out of the box is pig rich & pretty safe, especially with hardly any tq down low. However, tuning the kit means your leaning it out.So how is tuning it a good/safe choice?
Just like stock or Vortec, the stillen needs tuning when you uprade more parts. So, mods=tune Stillen then you're O.K.
J lo's a$$ is FAT,she may look better if it wasn't there. Our car might sound better with a jet engine sound rather then a Psssssst sound. You never know, go hear one for yourself
Once you get the bug,you WILL always want more power. So,if I were you I'd buy the polished(if that's what you like) and mess around with the 5.6 pound pulley it comes with.In a few months,I guarantee you 5-6 pounds wont be enough & you'll want to try something new/more(7lb pulley).Unless you can controll your cravings like Joe Joe Z

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I just finished it up last week. I sent the blower to magnusson products, eaton's US rebuilder for the polishing. I have always been stage 3.

Strut bar: it actually feels about the same, maybe a touch less understeer, but I've got cusco sways, eibach springs and tokico shocks. I have the strut bar, its currently painted black, but I am getting ready to strip it and powdercoat it candy red also.

the stage 3 upgrade is under $100.00. Shouldn't really be a consideration between polished or not. If it is though, I would go polished, because its less expensive and a lot easier to change a pulley than to pull the blower and have it polished later.

How much more power is in the stage 3 upgrade? Does it require tuning?
Can you describe the sound from inside the car 2003z.

Beautiful RIDE by the way!

It is up for sale....unfortunately for you, I have a G. Polished Vortech has about 1300 miles on it. I already have rc 440's on my car so who ever buys my kit gets the brand new ones that I get with the greddy tt. My kit comes with an emanage for tuning instead of the split second box.....all for only $4200 plus shipping.

If you bought these items new cost would be:
Polished Vortech $4800
Greddy emange/harness $390
RC 440 injectors $530 (these will be new)

I will give my self a shameless plug while I answer your question. I was considering the APS TT but went with the greddy TT because of the lack of unichip (APS piggy back) tuner in FL......there are none.
