Default Lowest Turbonetics price

What prices has everyone come across for the Turbonetics ST kit? I am looking for the regular price not a GB price because I wont be ready for a month or two. Any and all good web sites will be much appreciated!

Some guy in Florida was selling them for $3200. Thread got deleted because he is not a sponsor.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust that price.

The lowest price I have seen is on Intense Motorsports website. I think it was around 4799.

APS single turbo group buy? I'll believe it when I see it.

And, to the 1 2 NV, where are you in Florida?

It's confirmed by APS and GRD on 350zmotoring.com.

I am located in the Fort Myers area, and I have a shop if you're interested in a place to have the kit installed. I specialize in S2000 and 350z's... Send me a PM if you're interested.

$3200!! I dont guess anyone knows how to get a hold of that guy? Hey Redline, yeah i thought about that. I am thinking when June comes around and the APS is released there will already be people that have the Turbonetics kit so i will be able to better gauge that kit i.e. pros/cons(from the people that had them installed), to where the APS pros/cons from "us" the consumer(not APS emploees) will be unknown. I trust the consumers word over the manufacturers simply because the manufactuer is going to tell you what ever it is you want to hear. The manufacturer is going to hide little things here and there. Every one does it. For example i emailed a guy from Turbonetics about the E.C.U. reflash such as elevation, c.a.s., and octane questions and that was a week ago. When i asked for some photos I received them the day of. Now that doesnt say they are hideing anything but it sure seems like they have some things to figure out yet. But who knows maybe the guy went on vacation. But the kit looks good.(mho) One of the things I dont like about APS is that they are not even making the kit conpetitive with Turbonetics, even at Turbonetics MSRP which is in the balll park of $5500, the way it sounds that will be the cost for the APS at GB price. Plus I may be wrong but my understanding is that you need a APS service guy to tune. and if thats the case there isnt one in my area. Zman, I do plan on installing it my self. I helped a buddy redo his LT1 motor so i think i will be okay. ( fingers crossed)

I believe it is Palm Beach Performance. Its related to Palm Beach Nissan I believe. They are still in the process of becoming a dealer though according to APS...

There's an authorized APS dealer here in Tampa, but it is a Subaru dealer. It's the only one in Florida presently.

Well I live Navarre FL(NW in the panhandle). Its about 30 miles east of Pensacola. So there is no way I am driving to Palm beach or Tampa. I am planning on doing the install my self. So if i do that I would have to trailor it to an APS dealer. Well all that just doesnt seem worth it to me. It sounds like the Turbonetics is a no tune needed "plug and play" but we should find out shortly if that is the case once some folks get the kit on and put them to a everyday driving/beating test!!

U sure about Turbonetics being a no-tune? I thought you have to send it to technosquare and it takes 3-5 days. I'll keep you updated though.....

Well yes with Turbonetics you have to send your e.c.u. in the prepaid package and what not. But the way I understand the APS kit is you have to get it tuned after install. With Turbonetics the way I understand it is you install the kit plug in you e.c.u. after getting it back from Turbonetics and that is suppose to be it unless you want to take it somewhere to get it custom tuned. If I am wrong someone please correct me.

Zman quote:"APS is ready to go out of the box, with mapping for 91 or 93 octane through GRD"

So it does need to be tuned, or am i just not reading it right?
