Default E.G.T. or Fuel Pressure

Well I decided to get three A-pillar gauges just to stay with the theme of the car.(the three stock center gauges) So I am going to get boost and A/f. But what is more important E.G.T. or fuel pressure. I feel both of them are important but cant cancell either one out. So for all the guys out there that are running boost already, which gauge should have priority? I am getting the T-netics kit so I will not be doing any tuning if that helps at all.

Well since you have the a/f gauge as long as it is a wideband you can drop the EGT as they would be doing the same thing... Although I must say you'r fuel pressure doesn't move much. I personally have boost, egt and fuel pressure in my Autometer a pillar and water temp and oil temp in my nav.

Default gauge

I vote Fuel pressure (especially if you are useing a Rising rate regulator or FMU), though I use both Fuel PSI and EGT on mine..

Default Which gauges?

If I was limited to either two or three gauges for my APS TT system, which would be the most necessary? The dealer recommended boost, and said oil temp was more important than EGT. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance....

If you already have a wideband then yeah EGT is not as important. However an EGT or wideband gauge is essential to make sure that your car is running well. Especially in Vegas where it goes from hot to cold you want to make sure you don't lean out when the temp changes a lot. Oil temp is also VERY important. Your water temp is going to very greatly as water rapidly heats and cools. But oil temp does not rise and fall as fast so it is actually a better barometer of how hot or cold the motor is then water temp. (The last statement of oil is courtesy of protocav)..

I opted for Boost and EGT based simply on the fact that the Turbonetics system is tame enough in stock trim that it can't out-run the pump (that's what I understand anyway), so fuel pressure monitoring isn't needed. I might get WB A/F down the road just for additional peace of mind, but that's an expensive option.

It would take a lot of power to outrun a Walbro 255lph (it is included with the kit). Like 700 RWHP stuff..

I found out today that I am, in fact, getting a Turbonetics kit. I'm going to be running Boost and an AEM wideband in the autometer 2-guage pillar pod. Unless you decide to go with some sort of stand alone engine management, you shouldn't need any more.

Stock temp gauge reads water temp? Just wanted to confirm this?

I plan on running:
Oil temp
Boost
Fuel pressure
Wideband
