Can anybody comment on what dual bypass valves would sound like? I posted the question already but nobody answered.

that depends on which valves, how they are vented, and how they are adjusted, where they are mounted, how much boost pressure, etc etc. you cannot really guess until you hear it in person... however the sound of those valves is the last thing anyone should consider in a FI kit.

Notice the supply to the driver's side turbo. It comes into the inlet pipe post maf, but @ what looks like a perpendicular or even greater than 90deg angle. If the turbos are going to recieve a balance supply there is some serious bending of the laws of fluid dynamcis going on there. But since the airflow from the turbos are merged via the intercooler, it's not really that big of a deal as for as the engine is concerned. Just the the drivers side turbo is going to be less productive than the drivers side. Not really a big deal, just poor engineering. Makes me wonder what else they haven't thought thru.

BTW, even thought it was run on a Dyna-Pack, the dyno has a correction factor applied to produce DynoJet numbers.
This 90 degree angle is something we noticed at SEMA and it would seem to be a less than ideal setup. Also, the fact that the MAS is so close to that 90 angle seems like it could cause some funky MAS reading if there is an turbulance cause by that sever bend.

That being said, JWT makes excellent products and if this is the design they came up with I am sure that it will be a very good kit. I especially like the fact that the MAS does not see turbo heated pressurized air

While it's a good thing for it not to see pressurized air, it is also not seeing the true air intake temperature at the manifold. It's negating the heat the turbos create and the cooling effect of the intercooler. There's always going to be a tradeoff. How about a HKS VPC. This would be the best option short of a full stand alone using speed density. Opinions?

CARB is for Califonia only..... CALIFORNIA AIR RESEARCH BOARD....which is good for you, but it really means little to the other 49 other states. It seems like this kit will have no problem passing emissions anywhere, though, as long as you keep the stock cats and exhaust.

Absolutely. If you can pass in CA, you can pass anywhere.

But yeah .. CARB only matters to a select few of us ... but I am willing to bet that CA members make up at least 20% of this board.
