He said on the first page the BOV fit perfectly into one of the vents so no i think he is ok...

No, AAM was able to provide me with a Y-pipe fitment. The only thing I lost was my Cats. The Borla system remains untouched.

Ok, so you all got me curious about this....and here's your answer:

You can angle that puppy straight up in the air if you want to.

So, I loosened it up, pushed it down just a bit, put my mesh back on the hood....Presto!

Interesting....your install looks strikingly different than what is under my hood, both in appearances and fitment. Might be just the early hour...now I'm going to have to go look. That is not even taking the BOV into consideration.

Kelly,
Congrats on the car, it looks sick, and I bet feels even better. From your review you might just make me become Turbonetics guy over APS. I am very happy to hear that you got everything together right in time for HIN. Hope all was a success.

Glad the advice helped out! I just wasnt sure you wanted the horn sticking out or not. That looks funny as hell with it sitting straight up. You should leave it like that during the show and tell everyone that it as an extra throttle body for better a/f for the flux capacitor or some s#$t!!

Really? The only difference should be that my boost tube is polished. What looks different?

I guess the location of the dipstick threw me there. Here's what I was talking about:

Mine came that shiny also, that was taken when I picked her up. Almost Hyper black in appearance. Comes close to matching my rims so I left it alone.

Mine looks like Kenny's. I'm kinda irked cause I already got a chip on my piping from the dipstick somehow.

Well I can say that the placement of my dipstick makes it impossible to chip anything...however, it also makes it very difficult with a warm engine to check the oil...and trying to get that stick back into that hole is harder than trying to hook up with a conservative woman!

the raptor is mounted differently, the flange is welded on the tubing wrong, all the other installs i have seen it is facing frontwards, but yours is straight up. somehow the flange must of got welded on wrong.

Read!

you can adjust the angle of that flange. He was just showing that it can be angled all the way vertical if you want to.

I just did that for demonstration purposes to show that you can in fact adjust the placement of the horn. Mine faces the same direction as everyone elses during operation. My hood wouldn't close if the horn were mounted like that!!!!

Mine is between 11 and 12 all the way to redline. It hovers right around 11.5.

You can check my install thread for my dyno sheet to see the graph.
